Thryve is an AI-centric Fraunhofer Spin-Off developing a software development kit (SDK) for wearable- and smartwatch-based health monitoring. Analysing raw sensor signals and health data, our multi-disciplinary team creates a comprehensive set of health indicators available from everyday devices. This enables both research and health care providers to offer suit-tailored health assistance – in specializations ranging from cardiology to depression, from baby monitoring to geriatrics – and makes our software improve the lives of millions of people. Recently, we leveraged our technology in an effort to help monitor the spread of COVID-19 by launching an App in collaboration with the German Robert Koch Institute.


We are looking for a Business Development Executive who will support our Sales team by developing new business opportunities and presenting Thryve to core customers and stakeholders. You share our vision of an individualized health system enabled by day-to-day devices and have a good understanding of the health industry. As Business Development Executive you will


  • Conduct market research and identify sales opportunities
  • Be the lead on our Startup and SMB accounts while also supporting us when closing key accounts
  • Guide potential customers through the sales process, from first contact to final contract
  • Closely cooperate with the management team to win complex corporate sales processes


Your profile


  • You are outgoing and possess strong communication skills in German and English
  • You have a talent for creating win-win situations, are a problem-solver by nature and can sell ideas in a professional manner
  • You are experienced in dealing with people from different backgrounds and cultures
  • You take initiative and full responsibility for your customers
  • You have a degree in a Business or health-related field
  • You are results driven and take pride in delivering high-quality work
  • You ideally have experience working with or selling to stakeholders in the digital health space and are comfortable in a KPI-driven sales environment
